A technical problem onboard an Air France Airbus A380 superjumbo delayed take-off from New York on Monday evening.

A spokesperson for Air France said on Tuesday that the delay was caused by a problem with the aircraft’s fuel tanks.

This was the second reported problem with the superjumbo since Air France began flying it in November.
