Seven french doctors and health officials went on trial Wednesday accused of manslaughter and fraud. They allegedly ignored dangers associated with growth hormones taken from the pituitary glands of cadavers that may have been infected with a varient of mad cow. More than 100 children who were given the hormones in the 1980s have since died. Wednesday was the first time victims and their families faced the accused. Sarah Elzas reports on the opening of the four-month long trial.
