The French parliament is debating a bill Wednesday that would impose gender parity rules on top French companies. Within six years, 40 per cent of board members have to be female. There's a ways to go, as today that number is about ten per cent. Feminist group, La Barbe (The Beard) has been showing up at shareholder meetings wearing fake beards, and offering spoof congratulations for keeping the patriarchy alive.
