Doctor raises alarm over Morocco backstreet abortions

In Morocco, a leading doctor says around 900 women a day are having backstreet abortions. Professor Chafik Chraïbi is head of Amlac, a Moroccan association fighting illegal abortions, which has called for a reform of the country's abortion law . Terminating a pregnancy remains illegal in Morocco, except in very specific cases.  From Rabat, RFI spoke to Amlac member Dr Imane Khachany.
