The newly elected head of the African Union faced criticism from some delegates at the regional body's summit in Addis Ababa on Monday. The election of South Africa's Nkosazana Dlamini-Zuma was criticised by Kenya's Assistant Minister for Foreign Affairs Richard Onyonka. He accused South Africa of having bullied some nations to vote for Dlamini-Zuma in the tightly contested leadership battle with Gabon's incumbent Jean Ping. RFI spoke to Fumni Olonisakin, a political analyst at the African Leadership Centre in London, about the election.
