Newly elected head of the African Union Dlamini-Zuma faces criticism

The newly elected head of the African Union faced criticism from some delegates at the regional body's summit in Addis Ababa on Monday. The election of South Africa's Nkosazana Dlamini-Zuma was criticised by Kenya's Assistant Minister for Foreign Affairs Richard Onyonka. He accused South Africa of having bullied some nations to vote for Dlamini-Zuma in the tightly contested leadership battle with Gabon's incumbent Jean Ping. RFI spoke to Fumni Olonisakin, a political analyst at the African Leadership Centre in London, about the election.
