Libyan Prime Minister Ali Zeidan has been freed after being held by gunmen for several hours in Tripoli on Thursday. His captors, former rebels, waved to well-wishers when he climbed out of their armoured personnel carrier. The pre-dawn seizure of Zeidan came only days after US commandos embarrassed and angered many Libyans by capturing Al-Qaeda suspect Abu Anas al-Libi in Tripoli in broad daylight. Rami Olbeidi, a former intelligence official with Libya's National Transitional Council, comments.
