Anti-apartheid leader Nelson Mandela’s burial on Sunday end 10 days of official mourning. During this time numerous events took place across the country: mourning outside Mandela’s home in Houghton, Johannesburg, a memorial event at the FNB stadium in Soweto, Mandela’s lying in state in Pretoria attended by over 100,000 people, a traditional ceremony in Mvezo where Mandela was born and a funeral procession through Mthatha.
