A French humanitarian worker was released from hospital on the Indian Ocean island of Réunion on Wednesday after doctors determined she was not infected with the Ebola virus.
"All clinical and biological investigations in Réunion and metropolitan France have determined the absence of the Ebola virus," island authorities said in a statement.
Health care professional Chantal de Singly was admitted to the University Hospital Centre of Saint-Denis on 12 December following a two-week humanitarian mission in Guinea.
She had immediately contacted health authorities after showing symptoms of fever on Friday.
