Senegal holds a national referendum to amend the constitution

A weeklong campaign began over the weekend in anticipation of Senegal’s constitution referendum on 20 March. The referendum will give Senegalese a chance to vote for or against a 15-point plan, including presidential term reduction, for inclusion in the constitution.
