Nigeria's army sets up a Human Rights desk

Nigeria’s military is under pressure to improve its human rights records. One major critic of the army is the human rights organisation, Amnesty International. The group has accused the military of war crimes and crimes against humanity in its fight against the Islamist terrorist group Boko Haram. The military has now set up a Human Rights desk to address complaints of rights violation against its personnel. But will Nigeria soon see a people-friendly army?
