Louisiana wants BP cash for Gulf spill

The world may have forgotten the 2010 oil disaster in the Gulf of Mexico but local communities are still suffering the consequences. Louisiana, the hardest-hit state, was already experiencing a crisis because of land loss to the gulf. Environmental advocates see the influx of money for coastal restoration that could come with a bill that levies fines against BP as an opportunity for people and nature.
