Child marriage is still prevelant in India with nearly one-fifth of Indian women being married off before turning 15, and around 50 per cent before reaching the legal age for marriage. Campaigners say the prevailing problem of child marriage is also responsible for the poor health and record childbirth rates in India. Reporter Murali Krishnan travels to rural parts of the country to find out its prevalence.
