What does it take to prepare food for hundreds of thousands of people every day? Is it state-of-the-art machinery or a lot of workers? Akshaya Patra is the world’s largest NGO-run school meal program. It provides meals to over one and a half million schoolchildren (in 10 states) in India every day. Correspondent Murali Krishnan visited one of their massive kitchens in the southern city of Bangalore.
