Romanian actress becomes African child at Avignon

One of the characters in Dieudonné Niagouna’s play Sheda at the Avignon Festival is a young girl. She follows, in some kind of desperate way, a man she calls, “Seigneur” (Lord). The child soldier and the warlord. Coming from Romania, actress Madalina Constantin, who plays the girl, had to travel very far in this role. She talks about her journey.
