Irreverent gypsy music from around the world with La Caravane Passe

On its latest album, Gypsy for a day, the group La Caravanne Passe travels through France's "immigration music", as band leader Toma Feterman explains. From his punk rock roots, Feterman, the child of Jewish immigrants from Eastern Europe, started playing a pastiche of music from around the world ten years ago. As it turns out, there is a lot of thought that goes into the band's humorous - even slightly irreverent - songs.
