Low turnout for unemployment marches despite record jobless figures

Two groups of unemployed people and activists who had been walking across France converged in Paris this weekend, trying to raise awareness about unemployment and unstable jobs. One group walked from Montpellier in the south, the other from Strasbourg in the east. Over 3 million people are out of work in France, but turnout was low at the marches.
