French jobseekers head to start-up job fair

With unemployment at a 16 year high at close to 10 percent, many young people in France are well aware they are not likely to find the permanent jobs their parents had. The tech-savvy among them are eying the growing number of startups that have been popping up around Paris, and across the country, supported by investors and encouraged by the government. At a startup job fair this weekend, RFI met job seekers and employers who are rethinking what it means to work in France.
