Turkey's opposition parties agree to nominate joint candidate

Two of Turkey's largest opposition parties have declared a joint candidate to stand against the country’s prime minister who is expected to make a bid for the presidency in August. Their choice, a former diplomat with strong religious credentials, has raised some eyebrows.
