Olympic paradise lost as Momentum gains party status

Of the original five cities that were touted as the venue for the 2024 Olympic Games, only Los Angeles and Paris remain. In March, Budapest was withdrawn following a campaign launched by the activist group Momentum which has gone through the formal processes to become a political party. András Fekete-Győr has been elected as party chairman.
