For centuries art and culture have thrived in France - even in the Stone Age, artists were already at work. Lascaux is the site of some of the most important prehistoric cave paintings. Thirty years ago this month an exact replica was unveiled so that visitors could come and marvel without destroying the original Unesco heritage site. How were the paintings recreated? Who made them?
