The next day, I was so scared of being late for work that I arrived 40 minutes early. No one was there yet, at least, that's what I thought at first. And then I heard a noise coming from an office whose door was half open. It was the sales representatives office. I went towards that office…..

(Danielle frappe à la porte.)
Oh, I forgot that in France, you adress a person by saying either "tu" or "vous". You say "tu" to someone close (a member of the family, a friend or a colleague with whom you don't want to indicate a relation of hierarchy). You say "vous" to someone you don't know very well, or who has a job with a higher grade.

The office was full of open boxes. Samples of products were scattered all over the floor, but samples of what exactly?
Oh, yes of course, the famous miracle products that protects against mosquito bites and therefore against malaria! I believe I remember that it was Madame Leblanc who discovered the active ingredient : Paragem.
So, the brand Paragem includes 3 products : a face cream, a moisturizing body lotion and a shower gel for the hair and body.

I understand. The Paragem company sells its products to "grossistes" (wholesalers) who resell them to détaillants (retailers). And the samples are meant to reach the consumers through the wholesalers and retailers.

Fortunately, I had my pocket dictionary with me…"carte blanche" means "a free hand". Oh! that must mean he trusts me!!!
