Sudan and South Sudan are expected to reach a solution for their respective 'final status issues' within the next three weeks. These include border demarcation and the status of refugees. This, after an updated report on the negotiations was presented by the United Nations secretariat to the UN Security Council. The future of Abyei, an oil-rich area sitting on the border between the two countries, remains a major part of the negotiations. RFI speaks to Luka Biong Deng, a key figure in the talks.
