Britain’s Prime Minister David Cameron has said he would consider using military power to keep the Falkland Islands, known as Las Malvinas in Argentina. Last week Argentine President Cristina Kirchner published an open letter to Cameron alleging British forces had "forcibly taken the islands". Cameron responded with a warning that Britain had solid defences in place on the islands. Chris Moncrief, a former editor of the Press Association in London, says it's not just hot air.
