Green Cross International marks its 20th birthday

Former Soviet leader Mikhail Gorbachev founded Green Cross International, an NGO which is described as an environmental version of the humanitarian organisation, the Red Cross. The Green Cross was set up as a result of the 1993 international conference on climate change in Kyoto in Japan and it recently marked its 20th anniversary. An occasion for RFI to speak to Alexander Likhotel, the current president of Green Cross.
