Erdogan says will not allow 'terror corridor' in northern Syria

President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said Friday Turkey would not allow a Syrian Kurdish militia to create a "terror corridor" on its southern border with Syria.

"No one can expect us to permit a terror corridor to be created. We will not allow it," Erdogan said during a speech at Ankara's Esenboga airport. He was referring to the Syrian Kurdish groups wish to unite the three "cantons" already in place in northern Syria.
