One of Hollywood's glitziest parties, the Golden Globes, kicked off on Sunday with host Jimmy Fallon and a slew of stars re-enacting scenes from the acclaimed musical "La La Land."

The film is a nostalgic tribute to the Golden Age of Hollywood musicals and has picked up seven nominations.

Barry Jenkins's coming-of-age tale "Moonlight," with six nominations including for the director and cast members Naomie Harris and Mahershala Ali, has been monopolizing attention on the drama side of the contest.
