Muslim comedy hits France

Religion - and Islam in particular - is a touchy subject in France, which makes it a perfect target for comedians. Two years ago a team based in Bordeaux decided to try to make Muslim comedy, producing short comedy sketches dealing with practicing the Muslim faith in France. Today, 18 movies later, their website has received over 14 million hits. But the project has had trouble moving into mainstream television distribution.
