Hundreds of thousands walk to Santiago de Compostela in northern Spain every year. Mostly forgotten since the Middle Ages, the pilgrimage now draws more people than ever before. A holy journey for some, a cheap holiday for others - for Spain, it’s also an opportunity to boost local economies.
