Slideshow - Paris firemen's balls open to all on national holiday

The eve of France's national day - known as 14 juillet here and Bastille Day to the English-speaking world - is party time. Fire stations, many of which are historic buildings, open their courtyards to the public for the Bal des pompiers (firemen's balls). Our intrepid reporters Molly Guinness and Sarah Elzas went to take a look.
