French animal shelters struggle with abandoned pets

French people might be known as dog lovers, but according to some animal rights groups, France also has the highest rate of animal abandonment in Europe. And it goes upto rise over the summer when people leave for long holidays leaving their pets behind. A shelter near Paris is trying to help people keep their dogs, by offering dog training to address behaviour problems, but it's not easy to convince people.
