Waste management in France

Waste management is a big issue in France. The country has environmental targets to reduce the amount of garbage incinerated or dumped in landfills by 15 per cent, and to reduce the total amount of trash produced per person by 5 kilograms, per year. But it's not just for the environment - trash collection and treatment cost a lot of money. There are government subsidies set up to encourage the development of creative recycling or re-use programs. One way is through 'ressourceries', or re-use centers. What are they?
