Kvitova crushes Cibulkova to claim Wuhan Open
Petra Kvitova ended her 13-month drought without a title on Saturday with a straight sets destruction of Dominika Cibulkova at the Wuhan Open.
Kvitova, 26, hit nine aces, taking just over an hour to win 6-1 6-1.
It was the 18th title of a career that includes Wimbledon trophies in 2011 and 2014.
During her run to her second crown in Wuhan, Kvitova beat the world number one Angelique Kerber in the second round and the world number four Simona Halep in the semi-final.
