Le Corbusier is one of the world's best known architects and also one of the most controversial. To mark the half-century of his death in 1965, Paris's Pompidou Centre has opened an exhibition called Le Corbusier: Measures of man. It is not a retrospective but rather a look at Le Corbusier as a painter and artist. And it glosses over some of the more questionable aspects of the architect's life and politics.
